More tap outs came with choke holds, arm locks, head scissors and an excruciatingly painful Americana – all to Dark Angel of course as I struggled to get a look in from an attacking point of view. “Oh you are very flexible…nice!” was her calm response as she’d just go for a different move. My biggest success was to come through resisting her grapevine attempts. She was too quick and too strong for me and we both knew it early on. I resisted that but then she turned her focus on an excruciating arm bar and I had to give!Īngel flashed a satisfied smile which gave the hint that more was to come. She had me in a headlock and was trying to get me in a grapevine. And I could tell I was going to have a lot of trouble with this cheeky beauty before we’d even got started! We locked up and she was quickly forcing me back and getting on top. Not that this mattered, as it turns out, because Angel was in the mood to teach me a lesson, regardless of what condition I was in. A sign I’m getting fitter and recovering far more quickly after fights. However, despite two matches in the previous two days, I was not feeling tired or any real pain as a result. As you can see from the pics, Angel is in fantastic shape and I knew I had my work cut out.
We got ready and warmed up ready for our bout. It’s a great spacious gym – with a ring which I was going to wrestle Angel in!! My first ever match in a ring!! Just added to the excitement and anticipation. Cam has put a lot of hard work into getting it ready but it really has paid off. As is stunning Cam – who arrived to let us in.Īs I was guided into the studio, I was blown away by it. She looks even better in the flesh than she does on her gorgeous pictures! And she is incredibly friendly. It was Angel who arrived first and she warmly greeted me. I made my way to MWM’s new studio in Enfield and waited for both both Angel and owner Cam. MENU -> END LEVEL -> CHANGE LEVEL -> THEME PARK RACESo my third and final session of an awesome weekend in London was to be my debut appearance at MWM to face the stunning Dark Angel!Īngel was another who had done an interview for this blog, so it was about time I faced her on the mats. turn left and head straight for transmitter room slight right into the building and boost off the quarter pipe to the second level when the challenge prompt appears, jump off to the left and head straight (you should have hs by now) make your way to roller coaster, feeble grind the roller coaster head up the ramp and grind the 3rd balloon box before you pick up the key, grind the ledge with 2nd balloon box grind the ledge in front of you to the left (1st balloon box) MENU -> END LEVEL -> CHANGE LEVEL -> CASTLE RACE break as soon as you leave ramp and hold back, if you land towards the bottom of bridge, you will do a quick 180 turn into transmitter room head straight out of the room and use ramp on to drawbridge
grind ledge that is under the suit of armor statue to reveal room with 3rd CD curve left to get to second boss (2 hits), grab key it will reset you near a ledge, bluntside (down + grind) under the tree head straight to Frankie boss (2 hits), pick up key you want to jump straight as you get the 2nd CD head straight but drift to the left, jump up to rail, grind catapult, tricks (good time to get high score (hs) u-turn and jump up to the railing left of catapult build up a little boost by doing a small combo if you aren't in manual, you should be boosting grinding for the most part in faster than riding
if you go into a manual just after landing, you will maintain your speed but will have refreshed your balance bar, this helps a lot you want to manual down slopes to build up your speed if at the top of the menu and you press up, you go to the bottom of the menu and vice versa in "Trick Setup" change all Sick Freestyle slots to "China Air", this will really help with the high score objectives, alternately, you can change all your Sick Air moves to "Backflip Tailwhip", however be careful, "Disco Inferno" is learned and overwritten on one of the slots and will mess you up in "Options" menu, you'll want to turn off "Action Camera" there is an autosave feature so playing without memory card is best
Game Cube has faster loading times than PS2 Thanks to Bbforky for routing much of this run.
